as was the bridal-gown that night
who walked the aisle…a long way for love.
Waiting there, was the young man
With shining eyes, a beating heart
As if drunk with a whiskey or two.
There in the corner, the face of the unknown
Playing the piano as he sings a lullaby
of love and romance…
Eternal happiness…
That only the two will share.
The couple romancing by candlelight
and in each others hearts,
The eyes engrave a message of love.
